These products are especially designed to prevent inadvertent overwriting during drive duplication and analysis, and to serve as a write-protection device for any IDE host. This would include protection from intrusion of a single PC and protection of servers including those hosting websites. Logicube offers two separate devices; the Write PROtect™ adapter, and the Desktop Write PROtect™>.
The new USB Write-PROtect™ adapter from Logicube offers users the ultimate protection for hard drive duplication and drive analysis. Designed for use with Logicube's Solitaire Turbo and forensic SF-5000, this specially designed USB adapter ensures full protection against inadvertent writes during drive capturing operations.
The USB Write PROtect™ adapter connects to the SF-5000 to allow USB connectivity to the source drive for data capturing. In addition, the USB WritePROtect™ adapter guarantees read-only access when analyzing the destination drive under Windows. This ensures full destination drive protection against inadvertent writes. After a successful capture, the destination drive can remain within the SF-50000 and connect to a PC or laptop through the USB port for further analysis.
Desktop WritePROtect™
The new Desktop Write-PROtect™ from Logicube supports IDE hard drive write protection or intrusion. This unique, sophisticated device features two modes. The first mode places the Write-PROtect™ device between the IDE host (Motherboard, Echo, Solitaire, Solitaire Turbo or SF-5000), and the hard drive. The second mode places the Write-Protect™ device between an IDE drive (protected) and a PC or laptop using the supplied USB cable.
