New Production Grade OmniClone® Xi Series from LogicubeChatsworth, CA - Thursday, November 23, 2006
The OmniClone Xi Series from Logicube represents a new generation of high-speed, production-grade hard drive duplication systems. These multi-target systems possess many advanced new features, specially engineered for volume production requirements. The Xi Series includes the OmniClone 5Xi with one master to five targets, and the OmniClone 10Xi with one master to ten targets.
All three high-performance systems support UDMA-5 speeds for fast data transfer rates up to 4.0GB/min. They also automatically support all slower UDMA and PIO modes for older drives. The new OmniClone Xi systems allow for IDE to IDE and IDE to SATA drives. Every system features a large (4" diagonal), seated, "paper-white" fine-touch screen. Navigation through the menu is quite intuitive, allowing the user to quickly access and use the systems's full capability.
Perforated drive trays and 3 high-power internal fans dissipate the heat and keep the drives cool and stable. To increase process speed, users may also with to disable unused drive positions. These units also deliver full integrity testing for both cables and data paths.
Each unit includes a built-in USB port connected to the master drive position. This allows users to gather data through the USB port of a PC, which allows them to quickly partition and build new master drives. In addition, a built-in Compact Flash card provides easy loading of software updates, and a new Database option is available. An optional hard drive bar code reader provides additional process control, logging drive ID's onto the compact flash card for documentation and storage.
Each system also features a full suite of powerful software including CleverCopy™ and MirrorCopy™. Optional software; Selective Partitions, NTFS CleverCopy, MasterManager™, and Advanced Diagnostics broaden the systems's capabilities.
MasterManager makes easy work of building a single master drive from various sources. Selective Partitions enables the user to quickly set up or restore custom configurations. Advanced Diagnostics includes several very important functions such as "Wipe", "Scan", "On Error", and "Repair".
The advanced new OmnicClone solutions also feature a variety of other high-performance options. An optional visual light stack provides visbility from across the room. The three colored lights (red for error, green for activity and amber for user input) frees up the technician to handle many systems at once. An optional replaceable power supply module is also available.
