Logicbue Inc., the leader in hard drive duplication systems, announces the release of its new OmniSCSI™. The OmniSCSI 1-to-1, is a single target standalone system designed for fast duplication of SCSI drives, transferring data at speeds in excess of 2.3GB/min.
This self-contained system is housed in a slim-line chassis with its own LCD graphic displays and control panels. No keyboard or monitor is required. Through the use of special perforated drive trays and high-speed fans, cooling system dissipates SCSI drive heat.
Now technicians and IT professionals can duplicate a SCSI drive quickly and easily. Master and target drives can be different sizes, brands and models. Though powerful and sophisticated, the system is easy to use and comes ready to clone right of of the box. Simply plug in and insert master and target SCSI drives. The system is ready to clone at the touch of a button.
The new OmniSCSi 1-to-1 possesses expanded features enhancing duplication capabilities. Enhanced software modes of cloning include MirrorCopy™,Master Manager™, Selective Partition™and NTFS CleverCopy™.
The CleverCopy technology copies only data areas and skips blank sectors. It also scales master partitions to precisely fit the target, making all the necessary adjustments "on-the'fly". CleverCopy supports all DOS, Windows 95, 98, 2000, NT and XP based operating systems 9 FAT 16/32, NTFS 4.0/5.X). MirrorCopy provides sector-by-sector copying, the simplest mode of cloning.
The optional MasterManager, along with Selective Partiitions, creates master drives by adding up to 24 partitions from different sources. Either replace an existing partition, or append to the end of the master. Selective Partitions allows users to select one, some or all partitions to create endless combinations. Each partition can be either CleverCloned, mirrored, defragmented or converted from FAT16 to FAT32 'on-the-fly'. Wipeout allows you to wipe a drive clean using one of three levels; 1 pass, 4 pass and 7 pass (DoD specifications).
